About Latavia

I grew up in a loving home. I loved my childhood and reflect on it often. I was born to goodly parents who taught me to LOVE life, to have a positive outlook on things, and to do my best in anything I did. I have one brother who is younger than me by 3 years. I have been blessed to have him in my life, we have always been close.

As a young girl, I always loved makeup, fashion and taking care of people. I would ALWAYS massage my dad's feet, scalp and back. He LOVED every minute of it. :) My grandpa loved when I massaged his head and combed through his hair. I made it look real pretty with all the barrettes and bows! I loved dressing up and putting makeup on, it just was a thing I did constantly. I did a little modeling when I was younger, something about walking down the run way that was thrilling to me.

When I look back on my life and the things I was passionate about then...I'm passionate about now. I still love makeup, fashion, beauty and helping people feel better through massage.

Fast forward quite a few years, in 2006 I attended Bon Losee Academy in Provo, UT. A Hair and Skin Care School. I had struggled with acne in high school, bad acne, the cystic acne. The kind that made me want to hide and never come out. I became self conscious and did not like talking to people if I had a breakout. An esthetician helped me with my acne before I left on my mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and she was the biggest sweetheart. I could tell she loved what she did, that she genuinely wanted to help me. I could feel that. She actually cared about what I was going through. She was beautiful inside and out. I wanted to be like her, I wanted to help people struggling with acne, just like me. I wanted to change a person's life.

So there I was, at Esthetics school and was so excited to help my own skin get better and possibly help someone else in their struggle. I loved every minute of being there. It was everything I dreamed of. I was unfortunately the "guinea pig" for all the chemical peels and extractions, because I had the WORST acne. It made me feel resentful at first, but my skin started to look better. I felt better about myself. I started to love how I looked. I could feel my self confidence come back. It was indeed a BEAUTIFUL feeling.

I wanted that feeling for someone else.

I graduated and my skin looked the clearest it's ever looked. All I wanted on my wedding day was to have beautiful skin. My wish came true, when I married my sweetheart my skin never looked better.

Cody and I were married in the Idaho Falls Temple in 2007 and that was the beginning to a beautiful life. We have three beautiful children together. Two boys and a girl. Kopelin, Keaton and our beautiful Cheyanne. They are perfect. I have enjoyed being a mother to them. Every day is a learning process and that learning process has made me learn a lot about myself. Life is good.

So here I am. An Esthetician who loves skin care and loves helping others feel beautiful about themselves inside as well as out. I'm also a lover of health and love helping others feel that they are of worth. Fitness goals can be hard to keep and can be hard to reach, I love to help those that struggle with those two things. Being a Fitness Coach has made me a better person. It has helped me be accountable and work hard as well. I have always been fairly thin, but that doesn't mean I was the healthiest. Being healthy is what counts. Being healthy will open the door to many opportunities. Value your life, because it needs to be valued.
